AutoCon LA 2010

Saturday, December 11th was the first annual AutoCon underground show in the city of LA. We decided to take a cruise in our 1976 Toyota Celica, and show off the 2JZ under the hood. The Celica received a lot of compliments and attention - and we realized, maybe we should have entered it in the show. We might have had a chance in the "Best Old School" class. There's always next time. The underground idea was pretty awesome, the atmosphere was great, and the scene right out of a movie. There was a lot of great and spectacular cars. This light box made us want to get in and party! And, we definitely could have had a good party. AutoCon did it proper, nice cars and beautiful ladies. Apart from the beautiful women walking around, another thing that caught our attention was the latest fad in motor swaps - the LS powered Nissans. A great power house, and reliable machine - has been doing great in the FD series, with everyone going V8. At JER though, our hearts our still in Japanese Engine Racing - with our own V6 and V8 power options. We won't turn away the opportunity at an LS swap though!
