Check out this Frankenstein. We have been working on one of our good customer's 1973 240z for sometime now, and decided to post up a couple of pictures and a little Dyno teaser, to show what goes down here at JER Development. You might have noticed the Rb26 sticking out of the engine bay, but what's hard to catch at first glance is the Rb30 bottom end. You can say this is a killer combination, a man's dream and the road's nightmare.
Yes, this thing isn't an ordinary monster. It was made into a monster, by meticulous hands. The engine features forged pistons, with a port and polished head and upgraded cams. Also tucked neatly into the engine bay are two upgraded HKS turbos fueled by 740 injectors and powered by an Apex stand alone ECU.
Everything, from the FMC, manifold, exhaust and motor mounts has been custom fabricated specially for this build. The fine tuning on this machine has kicked out 392whp on pump gas. It is estimated to produce 6-700hp by upgrading to race gas and upping the boost.
If you catch this monster on the street, take a picture before it's gone!
